Carolina National Golf Club, is a Semi-Private, 27 hole golf course located in Bolivia, North Carolina.
Carolina National Golf Club is a 4 1/2 star Fred Couples signature golf facility. The course is set along the Lockwood Folly River, carved out of low country marshlands and offers golfers an endless variety of playing experiences.
The 14,000 square foot putting/chipping green and the 320-yard driving range are great warm-up facilities.

Just over 7,000 yards from the tips, the course will challenge the accomplished golfer, yet five sets of strategically placed tees offer an equally challenging test to golfers abilities.

Course was overbooked so had to wait for carts to come in before we could start. Our tee time was in the afternoon. Grass is so short that chipping was difficult and the area around some of the greens was nothing but mud. Course was all tricked up with bunkers and waste areas so it is just target golf. Meant for better golfers.

This is target golf... lots of traps, water. Don't think about grip and rip here. Short holes, shot placement is a premium. Lots of fun to play.

Course condition significantly improved over past years. Greens are excelent as are fairways.

Very nice course with lots of different looks. The signature holes (par 3s) down on the marsh are superb. Although the greens were in need of attention last time I played, they've been better at other times. There are three nines and each of them is lots of fun to play. Highly recommended.

I have played this course several times over the last 6 years. Let me say that the greens were in the best condition I have ever played for this venue. In the near past I swore I would never come back due to course conditions. There has been a big turnaround regarding conditions. So we had true, fairly fast greens. Thin tight fairways. Bunker sand that was too soft and guaranteed to plug on most shots. The layout is fine but has several forced carries to tough target greens. As long as the condition of the greens remain the same an the fairways improve, I would recommend this course for a less than $50 value. More than that, it better be in very good shape. Oh, and for the post round libation the bar had a great variety of beers in bottles and cans as well as two great craft beers on tap.
